My name is Derek Hytrek, I’m a 23-year-old filmmaker, editor and cinematographer living in Los Angeles.
I specialize in documentary filmmaking and exploring strong characters. I contribute in all aspects of video production whether it’s sports, commercial, business, or narrative. I also have experience in photography, color grading, writing, VFX, animation, virtual production, and sound design.
I grew up in Iowa lived Lincoln, Nebraska and am currently in Los Angeles.
